Chance for change

A CHANCE FOR CHANGE is a DVD made specifically for the Development Education component of the Professional Diploma in Education (PDE) at NUI Maynooth.
It aims to capture some students’ and teachers’ experiences of Development Education. The DVD fetaures students and teachers from Colaiste Bhride Community College, Carnew Co Wicklow and Firhouse Community College Dublin. The Principal of St Mary’s Academy CBS Carlow and some past students from that school are also interviewed. This 20 minute production was made, with support from Irish Aid, by Animo Productions. Gerry Jeffers and Joe Clowry from the Education department, NUI Maynooth were the educational advisors for the DVD.
